Who We Are

About Destiny-

Destiny has been playing the violin for the past 30 years and teaching for over 22 years. She holds a violin performance degree from The Bob Cole Music Conservatory. Destiny has a passion for teaching the violin and loves to share her knowledge with students of all ages. 

About Violin for Joy-

After 20+ years of teaching violin in person, it wasn’t until Covid hit that Destiny began teaching her private students online and realized that she could help even more people by using an online platform. Being a busy, homeschooling mom of two girls, she would try to keep up with teaching her own daughters violin, but many days got away from her.

She began to dream of a way that she could have consistency in her music curriculum for her kids, without overtaxing her time and energy. That’s when Violin for Joy emerged. Destiny strives to offer a comprehensive and JOYFUL violin education with minimal input for the parents.
